TOPIC 1: GOALS -- Now that you’ve committed to taking Photojournalism this term, what are your THREE goals for this class? (In addition to earning a good grade!)
1.Earn the ability to be trusted giving photo advice. 2. Become a tactician of my SONY A7. 3. Get to know who is interested in taking shots for the paper. 
TOPIC 2: PHOTOGRAPHER OF THE WEEK -- After selecting your “Photographer of the Week”:
Evin Prison

Yousuf Karsh (1908-2002) is one of the masters of 20th century photography.  His body of work includes portraits of statesmen, artists, musicians, authors, scientists, and men and women of accomplishment.  His extraordinary and unique portfolio presents the viewer with an intimate and compassionate view of humanity http://www.karsh.org/ ).

TOPIC 3: LBCC PHOTOS -- Think about taking news photos related to LBCC. What would make good subjects for your next photo assignment?
  1. List TWO ideas.     LINA De Morais portrait. Shots of SLC for students. 
  2. Give details (e.g. time, date, place, background)
    I will be conducting an interview and will need a shot for the paper
